I want my images of your children to melt your heart. I want to create timeless portraits that show the inner light in your child. I would like to help you capture the wonderful moments of your child’s life that we often take for granted. We should cherish the moments when a child is growing and learning, exploring the new world. I want to write a storybook of your child’s life through the photos that I take. Like my slogan says: “Capturing once in a lifetime moments.”
My story:
My name is Dawn Wallace and I am a contemporary family portrait photographer in Metter, Georgia. I specialize in maternity, newborns, and children of all ages. I choose to focus my work on kids and families, producing beautiful images with true impact.
Photography is a passion that I have had for many years. After the birth of my son, I began to take my hobby more seriously and learned to express myself through my camera. Whether taking pictures of my surroundings or my child, I aimed to capture the moment and tell the story through the images.
Watching my son play and learn was one of my favorite past times. I spent many days just observing and photographing him. People always commented on my style of photography and said that I was able to capture something in my child that studio photographers did not. I then began replacing the “traditional” posed photographs in my home with these more artistic ones. These unique images seemed to capture by child’s personality, rather than just document his appearance. Some of my favorite pictures of him are those where he is playing in the dirt with his favorite tractors, sitting in the grass reading a book, or just laughing playfully. I want to capture these everyday, real life moments in your child as well.
